$65,514.80 - $87,819.00 Annually
$5,459.57 - $6,818.25 Monthly
$31.50 - $39.34 Hourly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of responsible public agency administrative experience that involves maintaining complex files and records, and providing varied and complex technical assistance regarding policies, procedures and regulations to staff and the public, and taking and editing minutes of public meetings is required, preferably in a City Clerk’s office.

THE POSITIONThe Deputy City Clerk will serve as a key member of the Government Services/ City Clerk’s Department by elevating the City’s Records Management program..The Deputy City Clerk will serve the Eastvale community with a “can do” attitude and “get it done” approach to work in a fast-paced environmentwhile working closely with a talented, energetic, and highly engaged team of City talent. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING• Assisting the records management program; Scanning, Records Destruction, Management of City records room, and management of records request
• Managing the City’s Commission Meetings
• Managing City’s online FPPC Form 700 filing system
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE• A passionate individual who is dedicated to helping the management and administration of the City’s record management program through the development, distribution, filing, and archiving of official city documents.
• An experienced professional with the ability to perform a wide variety of responsible and confidential duties relating to the safeguarding of City Council meetings.
• A professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills who can build and maintain successful working relationships with those encountered at work.
• A solutions-driven individual who promotes interdepartmental teamwork and collaboration with the skills and ability to balance, instruct, and inform.
• A leader with a strong sense of character with uncompromising ethics and values, including honesty, integrity, and courageous decision-making.
