Duties
- Develop and execute the budget for organization.
- Apply budgetary policies, practices and procedures for organization's operations.
- Reconcile official accounting system data utilizing General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Syncada, Defense Travel System, and Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A).
- Perform financial oversight for contracts in the areas of budget programming, cost control, vendor policies and procedures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) utilizing an automated accounting system such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to locate and analyze data pertaining to budgets; 2) identifying solutions to budgetary problems; and 3) utilizing budget processes and procedures to assist in the formulation and execution of an operating budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
