The Oregon State Hospital, a division of the Oregon Health Authority is seeking an Electronic Security Technician 2 to join the Facility Service Team, located at the Oregon State Hospital, Junction City Campus.
What you will do!
As the Electronic Security Technician 2, you will provide administration and oversight of complex hospital security systems and life safety systems of the Oregon State hospital to ensure hospital systems are functional 24/7.

This is a full-time, permanent, classified position which is represented by a union.
What we are looking for:
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) electrical license or appropriate limited journeyman electrician's license for work assigned (e.g., LEA, LEB) issued by the Oregon Building Codes Division AND six years of experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems.
OR
A General Journeyman Electrician license AND six years of experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems.
Position Requirements
- Possess a current Journeyman Limited Energy, Class A (LEA) electrical license.
- Ability to work around energized electrical equipment.
- Operate power tools and boom truck.
- This position will often be required to use a state vehicle to conduct business; must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

- The salary listed is at the non-PERS rate. Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) eligible employees will have their base salary increased by 6.95% and pay the 6% employee contribution to PERS.
