What You'll Do
We are currently seeking a
Graphic Designer, Apparel , who is responsible for creating compelling visual concepts that align with customer specifications and the brand's identity. This role involves designing vector artwork, developing mockups for customer approval, and collaborating with various teams to ensure designs meet production requirements. The Graphic Designer also manages and organizes design files for easy retrieval and future reference.
Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Develop vector art and digital mockups using Adobe Illustrator based on customer specifications, ensuring high-quality visual outcomes that are production-ready.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the brand’s visual identity and meet the specific requirements of apparel design, including size scaling for different uniform sizes.
- Produce electronic mockups for customer review and approval, making adjustments as necessary based on feedback.
- Design “create-your-own” templates and mockups, facilitating customer engagement and ease of customization.
- Provide design expertise and assistance in other areas such as Team Shop Approvals, Evaluations, and data management in Excel and Filemaker.
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of design files for future reference and use in repeat orders.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to the design and production workflow.
What We're Looking For
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Fine Arts, Illustration, or related area. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in graphic design for apparel.
Other Qualifications Include
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and related design software
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in vector art, apparel design and brand consistency
- Demonstrated project coordination experience; strong follow up to keep others on task.
- Ability to work independently, and also to be a team player.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment.
