The Culture and Experience Manager is responsible for maintaining the department’s ideal culture and enhancing the employee experience, thereby reinforcing our commitment to Legendary Guest Experiences. The C&E Manager will leverage their creative energy to oversee and manage the delivery of training, resources, shared learning experiences, engagement practices, and communication strategies to achieve optimal service for both customers and employees.

Your Role
- Partner with leadership, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts to maintain and reinforce the department’s ideal workplace culture. Continuously assess individual, team, and organizational alignment and progress across all phases.
- Certify as a CliftonStrengths® trainer to be able to develop and facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and training programs that help employees understand and leverage their strengths for personal and team growth, driving a strengths-based culture within the department.
- Develop and deliver best-in-class training programs and resources focused on enhancing the service and communication received by customers and employees.
- Manage the onboarding experience for employees entering the department, working with supervisors to ensure employees are provided with the tools and resources needed for success.
- Ensure employees at all levels of the organization effectively conduct business with internal and external customers by applying City (Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Ethics) and department (Mission, Vision, Values, and Cultural Foundations) principles.
- Manage the Employee Experience team. Develop programs and initiatives that blend and align available training and development opportunities throughout the employee life-cycle to promote a consistent customer and employee experience.
- Determine key performance indicators and assess on regular intervals to determine effectiveness, altering the program as necessary to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
- Foster working relationships with supervisors and staff. Recommend techniques for improving communication and guide supervisors through the process of having “tough conversations”, on a variety of topics, subsequently increasing accountability at all levels of the organization.
- Establish and sustain collaborative and impactful professional business relationships; build and solidify credibility and trust through delivery of required/desired results while continually ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Provide and ensure uniform interpretation, application, administration, and practices across the department.
