The City of Watertown is seeking a highly qualified, skilled candidate to fill the position of Procurement Director. Appointed by the City Manage and reporting to the Assistant City Manager for Finance, the Procurement Director oversees all purchasing functions as authorized by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under Chapters 7, 25A, 30, 30B and 149, and manages bid procedures, procurement of goods and services and surplus property disposition. Requires Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of public purchasing related experience. Designation as a MA Certified Public Purchasing Official or ability to obtain with six months of employment required.
