The Ferry County Chief Examiner / Secretary conducts Ferry County's written, oral and physical agility examinations for Field Deputies, Corrections Officers and Communications Officers (911 Emergency Dispatchers). $21.71/ hr


Testing for Entry-Level Field Deputies, Corrections Officers and Communications Officers (911 Emergency Dispatchers) is a continuous process. Testing dates and times will be arranged by the Chief Examiner / Secretary.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a E911 Dispatcher is call taking, and dispatching for Law, Fire and EMS. Answering business lines and communicating with employees and additional stake holders of emergency services. There is at time filing duties and dictating upon request.


Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be able to type over 20 words per minute and have knowledge in using multiple styles of data bases. Must be 18years or older, background check and a poly and psychological exam. Also must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
