$41,944.00 - $49,927.00

($20.16 - $24.00/Hour)

Technician - Meter Services

$46,243.00 - $55,045.00

($22.23 - $26.46/Hour)

Senior Technician - Meter Services

$50,983.00 - $60,687.00

($24.51 - $29.18/Hour)

EXAMPLES OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

Submit daily reports on the overreads on accounts per book and cycle.
Maintain a high standard of safety, conduct, and job performance.
Perform installation, repair, and maintenance activities on the metering systems that meet local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform meter re-reads and identify possible reading errors.
Install new meter sets, schedule account transfers, identify and repair leaks, change out meters, and perform other related work orders as needed.
Able to competently complete work order assignments with some supervision and direction.
Participate in preventative maintenance and repair programs to extend equipment life and aid in the reliability and effectiveness of all Meter Services activities.
Maintain and perform all operations related to the AMR (Automated Meter Reading) system.
Ability to run GPS and map locations for all meters in the system.
Keep maintenance records on all assigned equipment.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays beyond regular shift as required.
Must be available for rotating on-call duties.
