The Town of Argyle is searching for an experienced and visionary Town Administrator to guide the organization and community into its next phase of success. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with exceptional communication, financial acumen, and strategic planning skills.

The Town Administrator must possess excellent financial skills, develop and manage budgets in alignment with GFOA and GAAP standards, and create strategies to maximize revenues and reduce the financial burden on residents. Experience in regional partnerships, emergency operations planning, and monitoring legislative developments will further strengthen their ability to serve Argyle effectively.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, finance, or a related field, with a master’s degree in public administration preferred. Candidates should also have three years (3) of progressive municipal management experience involving similar duties and responsibilities of a Town Administrator. Any combination of education, experience, and training that would provide the candidate with the required knowledge and skills for this position may be considered.

Argyle is offering a salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 for this position, depending on experience and qualifications.
