Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Review high-volume files, as assigned, in order to determine appropriate course of action
Independently prepare high-volume of correspondence within assigned timeframes and consistent with PLA standards
Understand and follow office policies to ensure compliance
Establish a level of proficiency on client nuances
Answer and return telephone calls from property owners, negotiate payment plan terms and make recommendations for hardship consideration consistent with PLA
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be able to work independently
Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials as well as establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Initiative, including strong follow-up skills
Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining professional working relationships with a diverse group of individuals
Ability to work over-time as mandated
Receptive to feedback at all levels
Must demonstrate skills of poise, diplomacy and tact
PC Proficient: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Internet, and ability to learn Collection Partner (Hubbard)
Dependable, with strong work ethic and personal integrity

Education and/or Experience

B.A/B.S from an accredited university. In the absence of a B.A./B.S, one (1) to three (3) years work experience in collections is required
