Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marketing and Communications-Economic Development Specialist, based in Leonardtown, MD, with some work from home acceptable. The Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, conducting market research, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks will include creating communication materials, working closely with stakeholders to promote economic development initiatives, and supporting sales efforts in the key industry sectors.

Qualifications

Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
Experience in conducting Market Research and developing Marketing Strategies
Sales experience and the ability to engage with various stakeholders
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment
Knowledge of economic development practices is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
