Under general supervision assists customers by accepting, processing, coordinating, and routing all construction documents and permits, planning and zoning applications, and plans for residential, commercial, industrial, utility, and capital improvement-related projects. Assists clients at the development services center counter by answering development-related questions, performing less complex technical reviews and permitting, and other duties as assigned.
This position will function as a lead worker performing essentially the same work as those directed and includes overseeing the work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work of the front counter permitting team in the Building Services Division in the absence of the Building Permit Technician III.
