The City Of Johns Creek Is Seeking An Intern To Support The City Manager's Office. The Intern Will Assist The Department With a Wide Range Of Tasks, Including
- Conducting research on regional, state, and federal grant opportunities and drafting grant applications and narratives.
- Assisting with data tracking and implementing the City's business, recruitment, and expansion program - "Business F1RST".
- Review ordinances and policies as part of a comprehensive code review, researching parallel examples and suggesting updates.
- Other special projects as assigned.

Note: This seasonal position is anticipated to begin in mid-May, end no later than September 30, 2025, and is not eligible for benefits.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Public Administration/Public Policy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), with experience using advanced products (Project, Planner, PowerBI, etc.) preferred.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
Minimum Qualifications
- Current master's student or recent graduate with a concentration in Public Administration or a closely related field.
