BUILDING/ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT - BUILDING INSPECTOR I / BUILDING INSPECTOR II
The Building Inspector performs a variety of duties and responsibilities to accommodate land development within the City. The person is responsible for applying, and when necessary, interpreting the International Building Codes and providing and communicating alternatives to bring a structure into compliance with such codes.

Hours: The position is full-time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Compensation: The salary range for Building Inspector I is $30.41 – $35.26 per hour and Building Inspector II is $40.09 – $46.47 per hour depending on experience.
