The City of Oxnard is searching for its next Housing Director! We are seeking a strong leader who will be instrumental in carrying forward improved organizational effectiveness and best practices throughout the Housing Department and the Housing Authority to build a better Oxnard.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with strong skills in personnel management, a proven background in project implementation and completion, and expertise in partnership and team building. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be necessary to develop solid relationships with staff, city leadership, elected officials, community groups, housing advocates, and other key stakeholders. The selected candidate will have integrity, empathy, and an awareness for providing services in diverse communities along with the ability to navigate complex challenges and foster collaboration to find effective solutions.
