Wage: $72,966.40 – $103,355.20 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job summary:
Assists in directing the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Housing Authority. Assists in financial oversight and compliance across federally funded housing programs, including Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Programs, and other Affordable Housing programs. Responsibilities include supervision of Housing Authority accounts payable and receivable, grant accounting, financial analysis, prepares annual audit work papers, and ensuring compliance with HUD and GAAP standards.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and two years of related experience; or six years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Accounting. Experience in accounting. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and three to five years of related experience; or seven years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in financial analysis, in federal grant accounting, and/or HUD programs.
