PAY AND BENEFITS
Nurse Practitioner Salary Range:
Hourly Pay Range: $59.771439 - $76.048759
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.
Health Centers-Behavioral Health provides licensure supervision to all regular status employees who have completed a Graduate degree in a behavioral health related field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, etc.) and are actively pursuing a licensure in that field.
Group supervision is available for CADC hours for those on a CADC track.
Clackamas County's Health Centers are Federally Qualified Health Centers.
There may be options for loan forgiveness while working with a government / public agency through programs such as the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program or the Public Services Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Clackamas County Health Centers - Behavioral Health Clinics is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. This position is classified as a Nurse Practitioner at 35 hours per week.
In this role, you'll work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality psychiatric services within our Behavioral Health Clinics. We are looking for a dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional who values collaboration, patient-centered care, and a team-oriented clinical environment.

Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable
• Licensed to practice as a registered professional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Oregon with prescriptive privileges (within 30 days of hire)
• Must meet the definition for a QMHP as established by the State of Oregon
• DEA registration certificate with Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 privileges (within 30 days of hire)
• Must possess and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
• Must successfully pass the credentialing process
• Experience in positions that require handling a wide range of situations and circumstances effectively, positively and professionally
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Special Qualifications/ Transferable Skills:*
• Experience in positions that require accurate psychiatric care including evaluations and medication management
• Experience in position providing crisis management and developing treatment plans
• Experience working in a behavioral health clinic or similar facility
• Experience working in Electronic Health Record, preferably Epic
• Experience working with high caseloads (hundreds)

TYPICAL TASKS
• Prescribes and administers medications within legally established formulary; evaluates patient response to medications; educates clients regarding medications risks and benefits; documents according to clinic policies.
• Conducts and documents psychiatric evaluations and reassessments; orders and interprets diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests; develops and implements treatment plans; makes referrals to other health care providers and social service agencies.
• Participates in clinic operations and quality assurance activities; evaluates and recommends improvements to health care services; assists in the formation and review of clinical protocols, policies and procedures; participates in continuing education and in-service training.
• Provides consultations to other service providers, group homes, schools and community groups on behavioral health care issues; develops and presents education material.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position works 35 hours during a standard work week of Monday through Friday.
Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended.

The exact amount of on-site/telework and schedule will be discussed with the hiring manager during time of offer. Telework locations cannot be located outside of Oregon or Washington.
