The City of Brooklyn Park is seeking a Health Equity Coordinator to support citywide efforts that advance racial and health equity. Under the REDI Manager, this position plans and implements community outreach, leads Health on the Go (HOTG) initiatives, conducts equity-focused data analysis, and partners with community organizations to reduce health disparities. The role also supports cultural competency training, public health education, and development of policies that address social determinants of health.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, social work, or related field
4+ years of related experience
Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications:
Nonprofit or public health experience
Grant writing skills
Fluency in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Russian, Lao, or Vietnamese
