The Facilities Staff maintains the cleanliness of all county facilities and the surrounding grounds. Uphold the health and safety of a building’s occupants by ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness of all offices, restrooms and common areas. This position reports to the Facilities Director and is located in Watford City, ND. The schedule is Monday – Friday, and occasional Saturday, split shifts. Level and salary commensurate with experience.
•Perform cleaning, dusting, and related activities; such as wipe furniture; sweep,
mop, or vacuum floors.
• Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Clean windows, walls and doors
• Clean, sanitize and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products, refill restroom dispensers.
• Clean the microwave, fridge and cupboards
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to report to Watford City, ND daily at required schedule time
• Organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Must be a self-starter and goal oriented
• Knowledge of chemicals and cleaning supplies
• Knowledge of washing, waxing, and polishing floors
• Operating cleaning equipment
• Physical requirements and working conditions:
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of
force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move
objects
