The Economic Development Department is recruiting for two (2) Intern IIs to assist with flyers, brochures, and advertisements for the department.
Status: Part-Time, Temporary Limited Term (up to 960 hours)
Hourly Rate: $18.86 – $26.55

Duration:Up to 960 hours

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Our ideal candidate is a proactive, creative individual with strong administrative, organizational, and research skills, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with creativity in designing engaging marketing materials such as flyers, emails, and social media content. Proficiency with office software, especially the Microsoft Office Suite, is required. Responsibilities include designing and producing flyers, brochures, advertisements, and digital content for economic development programs; assisting with social media campaigns and website updates to promote City initiatives; researching and compiling economic and demographic data for marketing purposes; supporting coordination of business events, trade shows, and community outreach; maintaining and updating marketing collateral and business directories, and providing general administrative support while performing related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Desirable Qualifications
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and be currently enrolled in a college Master's Degree level program.
Individuals currently enrolled in a college Bachelor's Degree level program are encouraged to apply and will be considered.

Applicants possessing the MOST DESIRABLE qualifications at each level, based on a screening of required application materials, including the completed Supplemental Questionnaire, will be invited to continue in the selection process.
