Summary
This position is responsible for providing entry-level judicial and legal support to effectively carry out the Surprise City Court's mission. The Court Clerk will perform clerical and technical duties that include, but are not limited to; data entry, file preparation, and reporting accurate case file information to the public and government agencies for misdemeanors, civil traffic, parking violations, city ordinances, and other civil matters in compliance with legal requirements and procedures.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and one year of general clerical or customer service experience. Experience in a court or legal field desired. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
