Introduction
The Business Services Analyst reporting to the Director of Incentives and Operations ensures the smooth execution of key incentive programs and land transactions, driving compliance, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making for the County.
This is a detail-intensive position for someone who thrives in structured environments, manages deadlines confidently, and takes pride in keeping complex processes organized and on schedule.
About This Role
- Track compliance requirements, reporting deadlines, performance benchmarks, and payment schedules.
- Review incentive disbursement requests and supporting documentation for completeness and alignment with agreement terms.
- Monitor project milestones, approvals, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready program and transaction files.
- Compile financial and program data to support internal reporting and leadership review.
- Utilize Salesforce and Asana to manage workflows, timelines, and cross-departmental coordination.
- Provide regular status updates and follow up on outstanding action items.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of related experience. Related experience includes:
- Experience in program administration, contract management, financial analysis, grants management, or a related operational role.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and precision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts, agreements, and supporting documentation for compliance.
- Collaborative mindset with consistent follow-through and accountability.
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development, Public Administration, Finance, legal or related field.
- Experience supporting economic development incentives, grant programs.
- Familiarity with public land sales, or disposition of publicly owned property.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and experience using project management platforms such as Asana.
Work Schedule: The Department operates from Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, there is an opportunity for limited, regular teleworking, subject to mutual agreement and alignment with departmental needs.
This is a hybrid telework eligible role that may revert to in-office scheduling if business needs change.
Starting Salary Range: $78,971.59 - $106,843.92
