Role Description

The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations, maintenance, and safety of facilities to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with regulations. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing facility operations, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring equipment functionality, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Facility Management (FM) and Facilities Operations to ensure smooth operation and compliance with standards.
Strong Supervisory Skills, with experience in leading, coordinating, and motivating facility teams.
Expertise in Equipment Maintenance, including the ability to oversee repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
Exceptional Communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, vendors, and organizational leadership.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance related to facility operations.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects under deadlines.
Experience in government contracting or a similar environment is a plus.
Relevant certifications in facility management or related fields preferred.
