Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

Salary: $62,471.00 - $93,707.00 / year (Dependent on qualifications)

About the Role:
The City of Bristol, Tennessee is seeking a highly motivated professional to step into the role of Risk Management Specialist. This is a working position responsible for performing day-to-day activities related to the City’s Risk Management Program, including intake, investigation, and resolution of property, liability, and workers' compensation claims.
Job Description:
- Investigate and resolve property, liability, and worker's compensation claims.
- Collaborate with City staff, department heads, outside agencies, and the public.
- Research complex regulatory issues and recommend strategic courses of action.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of proven relevant working experience with Property/Liability coverage, OSHA and Workers' Comp.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Business, Health, Safety, or related field (Bachelor’s or public sector experience preferred).
- Industry Flexibility: Experience managing risk in the Construction and Hospitality industries, as well as within Human Resources, will be highly considered!
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Credentials: Valid Driver's License; must pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
