Position: RECREATION COORDINATOR
FLSA: Regular/Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $29,120.00/Annually

Reports To: Parks and Recreation Director

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director, the Recreation Coordinator is responsible for assisting in coordinating and implementing recreation programs, events and activities including supervising part-time staff. The Recreation Coordinator may assist with other recreation programs as needed. The Recreation Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and maintaining City Park rentals and facility reservations, serving as the primary liaison between patrons and City departments to facilitate permit applications, rental requests, and related communications.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS And REQUIREMENTS
Valid New Mexico Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
CPR and AED Certified preferred, or ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment.
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
A combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
