This role is responsible for delivering customer support to enterprise workforce seeking guidance on HR related matters.
- Serves as primary point of contact for the Office of Human Resources’ Innovation & Service Delivery Division.
- Supports Shared Services operations in the execution of day-to-day human resources activities related to recruitment, HRIS, classification & compensation, employee & labor relations and employee training & development functions.
- Provides ongoing support with county-wide succession planning efforts.
- Oversees shared email inboxes and responds promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests, providing accurate information.
- Ensures clear understanding of employees concerns and needs.
- Provides post production HCM Workday support to end-users.
- Conducts research as required to resolve HCM Workday end-user needs.
- Provides support to end-users via email, phone and Webex.
- Utilizes quick reference card, standard operating procedures and other resources to address HCM Workday end-user issues and concerns.
- Provides guidance and information to employees, supervisors, and managers on a wide range of human resources laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and memorandum of understanding.
- Conducts data entry for inbound correspondence.
- Utilizes data tracking mechanisms to log actions, follow up on open matters, identify trends and assemble reports.
- Uses computer software packages and other automated office systems to generate a variety of documents, including forms, lists, tables, data tracking spreadsheets, reports, correspondence and other personnel documents.
- Stays up to date on policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with functional leads and subject matter experts.
- Escalates and directs inquiries to subject matter experts when needed.
- May represent the department at meetings or on committees.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required QualificationsPossession of a high school diploma or an appropriate equivalent
plustwo years' clerical or technical experience in a human resources function or in job placement. (Additional education in personnel administration may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of Workday business processes and workflows preferred
- Knowledge of HR policies and laws such as FMLA, EEO, and FLSA.
