The Financial Analyst, FP&A plays a pivotal role within our team, responsible for driving our financial planning and analysis efforts while spearheading strategic initiatives to push financial performance across our winery, restaurant, concerts/ticket sales, and events. This role will involve collaborating closely with key stakeholders and department heads, to refine our financial strategies and directly impact our business outcomes.

Overview of Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and data analytics, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making and strategic planning efforts.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards, forecasts, and budgets.
- Collaborate with CFO, department heads and business leaders to gather data, analyze financial performance, and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Prepare financial reports and other analysis to be presented to senior management and stakeholders.
- Support month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, allocations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Key monthly contributor to our Winery accounting and Consolidation accounting .
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Power user of Microsoft Excel, proficient in Google Sheet and proven ability in financial modeling; experience with financial planning software/tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to work independently to meet tight and shifting deadlines.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Prior experience in hospitality/venue is desirable but not required.
