Help expand lifesaving opportunities for animals in our care. The Animal Services Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with rescue organizations, foster networks and other shelters; identifying placement opportunities for adoptable and rescue animals; verifying health certificates are accurate before sending to rescue partners or transports; and coordinating safe, timely transfers to rescue partners and foster homes. This position works closely with shelter and veterinary staff to explore available placement options, maintaining accurate animal records and supporting efforts to increase the shelter’s live release rate. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in an animal shelter environment are required. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be able to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check. Completion of euthanasia training is required within six months of hire. This is an educational training requirement; performing euthanasia is not a job responsibility of this position. A résumé must be submitted with application.
PAY GRADE GG15 / FULL PAY RANGE $23.10 - $32.56 PER HOUR ($48,048 - $67,740 ANNUALLY)
