Civil Engineer IV - Senior Project Manager
The City of Olathe is seeking a highly experienced and detail oriented Civil Engineer Project Manager to oversee the design, technical documentation, utility relocations, construction contracts, and reporting for various municipal infrastructure projects. You will serve as a key leader in managing and overseeing public infrastructure projects, guiding them from conception through implementation/construction. In this senior-level role, you will utilize your strong tenical expertise and leadership skills to plan, coordinate, and execute civil engineering projects that improve the community’s public infrastructure, including transportation, water systems, and capital improvements. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet all technical, regulatory, and budgetary requirements, while collaborating with various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with city technical specifications, design guidelines, and applicable codes and ordinances, while also exercising sound professional judgement in line with civil engineering principles. You will be part of a dynamic team, working on vital infrastructure projects that support the city's long-term goals.
