This position leads a team that develops and implements processes, systems, and resources that support the Sustainability and Public Health office. This position oversees program evaluation, office processes, and systems, manages contracts and grants, and provides technical assistance and training as needed. Additional responsibilities include supervising the Program Services Unit staff, determining the data needed from projects to inform MnDOT investment priorities, policy direction and agency training needs; directing the collection and analysis of program monitoring data to ensure grant funding is used appropriately and in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, recommending program evaluation needs and potential process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of professional supervisory planning experience OR three years of advanced professional planning experience that demonstrates:
• Experience managing and reporting on grants;
• Experience collecting and monitoring data to ensure program compliance;
• Experience analyzing, interpreting and applying state and federal laws, rules, and/or regulations.
*Please note: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Environmental Studies, Public Health, or a closely related field substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
