The Management Analyst II will provide facilitation and project management support for the Equity Ambassadors Training Program while also conducting research and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives throughout the city.
Department Hiring Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Promotes DEI program and policy information through various communication channels to include delivering presentations and facilitating workshops and trainings.
- Provide project management support (cofacilitating sessions, emailing participants, program promotion, setup and breakdown for in-person sessions, and session planning) for the Equity Ambassadors Training Program.
- Conducts a variety of research and other assigned projects by compiling and reviewing internal and external organizational information and preparing presentations and training documents.
- Serve on various internal committees and taskforces with an emphasis on embedding equity, and inclusion into plans, reports, and community engagement strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships and collaborate with various departments and internal and external partners to drive equity and inclusion efforts through program development, service delivery and community engagement.
- Coordinate, track, and promote DEI initiatives and opportunities happening throughout the city and in local organizations.
- Assist Equity Programs Manager in preparing documents for reports, presentations, forums, workshops, and trainings on current issues and emerging trends in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Participates in community engagement events, that occasionally occur outside of traditional work hours.
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Two years' experience in project management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The preferred candidate will possess:
- Ability to gather and interpret project requirements
- Ability to prioritize deadlines, including multiple short and long-term projects
- Interest in public speaking and program facilitation

Working Hours: Mon-Friday 40 hours/week 8:30am-5:00pm.
Signing Bonus: This position is eligible for a one-time $5,000 signing bonus. The signing bonus will be paid in two (2) increments: $2,500 upon completion of 60 days of employment, and $2,500 upon completion of your probationary period. To receive the signing bonus, you must be an active employee in good standing.
