Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area for a Code Enforcement Officer. The responsibilities include enforcing city codes and ordinances, inspecting properties to ensure compliance, investigating public complaints, and ensuring proper land use regulations. The officer will coordinate with residents and businesses to address violations and maintain a safe and sustainable environment while providing excellent customer service daily.

Qualifications

Experience in Code Enforcement and thorough knowledge of local laws and regulations
Understanding of Land Use policies and principles
Background in Law Enforcement to ensure public safety and compliance
Proficiency in conducting inspections and identifying violations
Strong Customer Service skills for engagement with the local community
Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work accurately and efficiently on-site and independently
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in related fields are a plus
