The City of Oakdale is now hiring for Facilities Maintenance
We are in the midst of updating and upgrading Oakdale’s facilities and are looking for the right person to help maintain these important assets. If you like to work interdependently with a team, have a variety of practical skills and talents (such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), and can leverage technology, consider this opportunity.
While the successful candidate does not need to be an expert in any one field, you should have practical, boots-on-the-ground experience in a variety of building maintenance and be willing to address requests in a timely and cost-effective manner. Familiarity with using technology to track and communicate work orders, budgeting, and working with vendors are valuable. Familiarity with local government requirements for bids/contracts is beneficial but not required.
