Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Four (4) years of experience with database development and management including one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
- Associate’s degree in computer science may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or associated field.
Available Schedule:
- 8 hours daily, Monday - Friday

The anticipated hiring range for theSenior IT Support Technician position is $37.54 (first step) to $39.41 or $41.38 (second or third step). The City of Medford determines starting pay based on an evaluation of relevant education, experience, andqualifications as provided by the applicant in their application materials, alongside others who perform work of comparable character consistent with the Oregon Equal Pay Act. Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
