YOUR POSITION
The Executive Assistant I position in the Economic Development & Housing (EDH) Department provides essential high-level administrative and organizational support to the EDH Director. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operations and effective communication within the department, as well as coordinating activities to promote the overall efficiency of the team. The Executive Assistant I will handle a variety of difficult, sensitive, and confidential administrative tasks, which includes managing the director’s calendar, drafting and proofreading critical documents, coordinating meetings, processing travel arrangements, and acting as a liaison between the department and other city officials. This position demands a proactive individual with exceptional multitasking abilities and a keen eye for detail, capable of operating within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

This person will play a key role in supporting the department’s initiatives to improve the quality of life in Moreno Valley through various economic development and housing programs.
Minimum Qualifications
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and five years of increasingly responsible office administrative or secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
