LEAD RECREATION COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: PARKS AND RECREATION
Duties include coordinating and monitoring recreational and service programs; planning and teaching arts and crafts, health and fitness, sports, special interest and socialization classes; overseeing the use and care of the facility; and providing assistance with the supervision of recreation center staff as needed[LM1] . A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with a major in recreation administration or a related field is required. Two years of experience in the coordination and instruction of recreational, social and cultural programs and activities and a valid Class C Texas driver’s license are also required. Hours vary and will include evenings and weekends.
PAY GRADE GG17 / FULL PAY RANGE $25.07 - $35.35 PER HOUR ($52,152 - $73,536 ANNUALLY)
