PAYROLL ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)
DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES
Duties include coordinating with departments to ensure accurate and timely production of payroll; researching and resolving pay issues; assisting with audit data pulls and with a variety of routine daily tasks (emails, direct deposit changes, etc.); processing employee status changes, check requests, mandatory withholdings and pay adjustments; and maintaining proper documentation of payroll processes. Duties also include assisting with HRIS management reports; preparing W‑2s; and assisting employees with access to IPORTAL / ESS. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college or specialized training in payroll is required. Must have a minimum of two years related experience; be proficient with spreadsheets; and have experience with MS Office. A résumé must be submitted with the application. Starting pay for this position is Pay Grade GG12 Steps 1- 3, $19.50 per hour to $20.88 per hour dependent upon experience.
