The purpose of this position is to manage information technology technical, programmatic and operational units. Develops strategies and priorities to align technology service delivery with business objectives and to secure resources from loss or compromise.- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
- Coordinates, assigns and reviews work and establishes work schedules; maintains standards; monitors status of work in progress;
- inspects completed work assignments; answers questions; gives advice and direction as needed.
- Plans, develops, evaluates and implements programs, policies and procedures.
- Reviews and approves implementation plans and schedules for training, new applications, upgrades, system modifications, conversions, and major projects.
- Identifies and develops strategies and priorities to ensure the maximum utilization of available computer resources toward efficient and effective information processing to achieve goals and objectives and future needs.
- Attends vendor exhibits, and researches new computer technology, hardware, software, components and products, and evaluates its cost effectiveness, feasibility and possible use and purchase.
- Prepares and submits bid specifications and proposals, and recommends procurement of contract services, hardware or software.
- Provides technical assistance, instruction and consultation to resolve and provide solutions to problems.
- Develops business and functional requirements for technology projects and develops technical solutions.
- Oversees strategic development, vendor management, process and service improvement, asset management, budget and technical solution development for assigned areas.
- Assesses technology operational and application needs and issues, provides consultation and advice, and develops and implements solutions.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Four (4) years of systems analysis, programmer analyst, applications development, or relational database management experience in a client/server environment, including one year of supervisory experience.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Must submit to a pre-employment polygraph test.
Must not have been convicted of a felony.
Misdemeanor convictions will be considered on an individual basis.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, and business intelligence platforms like Tableau and Power BI.
Project Management Skills: Effectively planning, executing, and monitoring data analysis projects to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Strategic Thinking: Identifying key data needs, developing data analysis strategies, and anticipating future trends
Communication Skills: Clearly presenting complex data insights to diverse stakeholders, including senior management, in a concise and understandable manner.
