Summary
Responsible for accurately processing citations and other court documents through the Municipal justice system from initial contact through finalization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the public including explaining legal filing processes, calendaring procedures, fees, fines, jury service rules, etc.
- Obtain, process, and review legal documents for completeness and conformity to legal requirements and manage related record keeping.
- Schedule court appearances and hearings and update court calendars, ensuring case files are complete before and after court proceedings.
- Prepare and issue writs, warrants, and other official court documents as needed.
- Process payments, including filing fees, cash bonds, fines, and account payments.
- Update automated case records with rulings and payment information.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of advanced training beyond high school.
- 2 years of related experience in a court environment or law enforcement agency or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
