The City of Irwindale is seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer to support the design, management, and inspection of a wide variety of public infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work both in the field and in the office, preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates using CADD and other software, while also coordinating with contractors, consultants, and city staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You’ll be involved in maintaining and improving vital public facilities including city streets, sidewalks, storm drains, sewers, and traffic signal systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for public service to make a direct impact in their community.
