Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports police operations through administrative, logistical, and non-enforcement duties where a licensed peace officer is not required.
- Orders, receives, inventories, and tracks department equipment, supplies, and vehicles while maintaining accurate records.
- Performs preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on facilities, vehicles, and specialized police equipment.
- Processes non-violent misdemeanor prisoners, assists with animal care and community functions, and responds to non-enforcement service calls.
- Collects information for reports, conducts fingerprinting services, assists with traffic control and equipment delivery, and maintains departmental compliance and documentation.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED;
- Any previous experience that demonstrates ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the essential functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record
- Must possess or be able to acquire First Aid and CPR certification within the first three (3) months of hire date
