Come join our APWA accredited Public Works Department as a Facilities Specialist! In this role, you will perform responsible, professional-level design work for construction of small and large scale renovations of existing municipal facilities and new facilities. You will act as liaison on assigned municipal facilities projects for various City Departments with project consultants and services. Additionally, you will assist the Registered City Architect in the area of outsourced work and strategic planning for management of municipal facilities, projects, as well as manage small construction projects thru the design and construction phases.

Experience, Education, and Training- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Construction Management, or in a related field;
AND
- Minimum of five years of work experience in an architectural or construction management field;
- Demonstrated and documented responsible work experience in a related field may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing/Certification- None required;
- Desire future ability to obtain Missouri Architect license/LEED certification.
