
The City of Springfield is seeking an Organizational Culture & Communication Specialist to collaborate closely with the Office of Belonging & Intercultural Development. In partnership with the Director, this role will help design, implement, and evaluate strategies that foster a cohesive, respectful, and supportive workplace environment across the City. The position emphasizes strengthening workplace relationships, building emotional intelligence, and cultivating a cohesive culture, while also supporting initiatives related to community engagement, talent retention, and procurement. This individual will play a key role in developing and delivering workplace training aligned with the City’s mission and organizational culture.

Experience, Education, and Training
- Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, or a related area of study;
AND
- One year of experience supporting training coordination/facilitation, employee development, organizational communication, onboarding support, leadership development, or community engagement/service roles.
