This is a hybrid position that supports our GCC Trade Territory and includes some travel to collaborate with teams across our locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, workstations, and telecommunications systems
- Ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance across all technology platforms
- Oversee daily IT operations including help desk support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and technology refresh cycles
- Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor IT staff, including help desk technicians and system administrators
- Assign projects and daily tasks to IT team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs
- Foster a customer-service oriented culture within the IT department
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and best practices
- Manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Monitor security threats and respond to incidents appropriately
- Manage user access controls and permissions
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
- Develop and manage the annual IT budget
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business operations
- Create and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Plan for future technology needs and scalability
- Present IT initiatives and ROI analysis to senior leadership
End-User Support
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues for all employees
- Manage hardware and software procurement for end users
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding IT processes
- Provide training and documentation for business applications
- Maintain inventory of all IT assets
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Must have 4+ years of experience in a management level IT position
Technical Skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and system administration, phone systems, databases, and data storage systems
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and cloud solutions
- Strong knowledge of Windows server environments
- Experience with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of cloud services and hybrid environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions
