Company Description The Town of Paradise is a full-service municipality of about 10,500 residents in the Sierra Nevada foothills, located approximately 15 miles east of Chico and 80 miles north of Sacramento. Since the 2018 Camp Fire, the community has been actively engaged in recovery, rebuilding, and long-term resilience planning. Town services include public safety, community development, planning and building safety, public works, capital improvements, and housing and business development programs. Role Description Under general supervision, provides a wide variety of technical, analytical, administrative, project coordination, and community engagement duties and responsibilities related to economic development, downtown activation, business support, and recovery initiatives; coordinates and implements economic development projects, programs, activities and agreements; acts as liaison for the Town with businesses, property owners, developers, community organizations, contractors, and regulatory agencies and the public; assists with marketing, promotion, and event coordination activities; supports the implementation of short and long-term economic recovery strategies; and performs related duties as assigned. - Pay Rate for this position is: $35.11 to $44.81 hourly or $73,028 to $93,204 annually
