ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Communications and External Affairs Officer, the Community Relations Administrator leads the Court's Community Relations Office, including staff supervision, program development, budgeting, grant management, and Court-wide outreach initiatives that strengthen public trust and community engagement. This position serves as a key representative of the Court in high-visibility community forums and also advises Court leadership on inclusive outreach strategies. Key Responsibilities
Develops and executes a forward-thinking strategic vision for community engagement that modernizes the Court's outreach approach, ensuring programs and services meet community members where they are — in the spaces, formats, and languages most accessible to them.
Provides operational leadership for the Community Relations Office, directing daily functions and activities.
Plans, coordinates, and implements community relations programs and initiatives to ensure effective execution, consistency, and responsiveness to organizational needs.
Collects, tracks, and reports program performance data, prepares summaries, statistical reports, and analysis to inform decision-making and evaluate program effectiveness.
Leads grant-funding activities, including identifying opportunities, preparing submissions, meeting reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with grant conditions.
Monitors and manages the Community Relations Office budget, tracking expenditures and recommends adjustments to maintain fiscal responsibility.

THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY
This position may be eligible for full or partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin:
OPTION I: Bachelor's degree* in community relations, public policy, political science, communications, public relations or closely related field - AND - four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in community relations.
OPTION II: Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in community relations.

Note: Credit for experience is based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a pro rate basis (e.g. working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit.

Strong leadership experience overseeing staff, programs, budgeting, and operational activities in a public-facing environment.
Experience designing programs and implementing large-scale community initiatives.
Skilled in analyzing data to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
Experience representing an organization in high-visibility community forums and handling sensitive external communications.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in community relations within a public agency.
