Role Overview We are seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team. This role involves driving communications planning and execution for events, seminars, newsletters, town halls, and more. You will design and execute communications initiatives, support executive communications, and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Advocate: Learn our company's voice and culture to be a strong advocate in all communications.
- Content Creation: Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging.
- Operational Excellence: Plan, implement, and monitor projects that improve communications engagement and actions taken.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with marketing, recruiting, operations, and other teams to ensure cohesive communication efforts.
- Event Promotion: Establish excitement and drive sign-ups and show-up rates for frequent events held both virtually and in-person.
- Resource Management: Develop and manage assets, including a document library and tracking overall communications from other teams.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop a roadmap for communications tools and platforms and keep abreast of legal risks around communications strategies.
- Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement efforts, including recognition and awards.
- Newsletter Creation: Create and distribute monthly newsletters to providers.
- Voice Enhancement: Enhance the company's voice in all communications with providers and clients.
- Reporting: Build and maintain comprehensive reporting on communication activities.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in corporate communications, message development, writing, and editing. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance rules for mass communications.
- Skills: Skilled writer with the ability to shape communications through compelling narratives. Understanding of email and SMS best practices, including messaging, subscription management, and deliverability.
- Pressure Handling: Demonstrates grace under fire, delivering quality communications quickly under pressure.
