The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $79,000 - $102,502.40.
This position is exempt under the FLSA.

Standard Judicial Branch business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position may offer a hybrid (telework, remote) schedule, depending on the needs of the Judicial Branch.

The Information Technology Project Manager position will be assigned to oversee the Court’s various technology projects. The Information Technology Project Manager will manage, organize, coordinate, monitor, and report the activities and functions of assigned CTS (Court Technology Services) Projects. Projects are based on Judicial Court priorities, strategic goals, and business mandates. The Project Manager will work cooperatively with other CTS employees, departments, outside agencies, contractors, and design professionals.

Position Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or related field
Experience:
- Three (3) years’ experience managing IT projects or IT business analysis involving project planning through completion.
OR
Combined education and experience qualifications:
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis

- Supervisory experience for 3-5 years.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/ Prince2
- Experience with Agile development and have run an agile software project

Essential Job Tasks

- Completes project documentation including charter, plan, schedule, communication plan and meeting agendas
- Supervises professional, paraprofessional, and technical personnel involved in the development of new and/or maintenance and operation of existing information technology systems;
- Supervises multiple business and/or computer applications through development and support phases
- Initiates or participates in systems analysis studies
- Evaluates overall and individual work performance to determine effectiveness in providing quality products within time and cost restraints
- Works closely with business customers, both internal and external to achieve project goals
- Prepares or reviews written and oral reports of proposed information technology systems
- Directs applications systems planning and budgeting, and acquisition and acceptance of new equipment for the department
- Monitors time and dollar expenditures to ensure projects and budgets meet established targets

The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County participates in the State Retirement systems ASRS or PSPRS. As such, mandatory membership for all full-time employees includes payroll deducted contributions consistent with each retirement system's requirements. The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12.29% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5.44% and up for the defined contribution plan and 9.81% for the defined benefit plan.
