Attention experienced building inspectors and plans examiners, we are looking for you! Experience in both fields preferred but not required, to fill the position of Building Inspector and Plans Examiner with the Town of Paradise Valley (Town). This hybrid position reviews construction plans to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal building codes, and may also perform duties of the Town Fire Marshal.

To become the Building Inspector and Plans Examiner, the Town requires:
- Three years of experience in structural code enforcement which includes inspection of building materials, civil design, code interpretation, construction inspection, and public interaction.
- A valid Arizona class D driver’s license.
- A combination of related post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
