Carmichael Water District is looking to fill the Business Operations Specialist position.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Business Operations Specialist (exempt) is a professional/senior level position in CWD’s Finance Department.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and hands-on specialist who is open to performing work in a variety of disciplines. They will have the ability to perform technical and professional work in the following areas: warehouse/inventory management, governmental purchasing/public contract code Department of Industrial Relations regulations,, facilities and fleet management, regulatory and compliance monitoring and reporting for governmental agencies, meter reading and other related work as required.

SALARY:
The annual salary range is $90,641.41 - $110,175.10

REQUIREMENTS:
• An Associate's Degree or 60 Units from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, business/public administration, water treatment, engineering technologies, or closely related fields.
• Minimum of five (5) full-time years of increasingly responsible experience with public agency inventory control, warehouse keeping, purchasing, contracting, and bidding.
• Possess and maintain Forklift Operator certification within two (2) months from date of hire.
• Possess and maintain a State of California Class C Driver’s License.
• Proof of good driving record as evidenced by freedom from multiple or serious traffic violations or accidents for at least two years duration.
